About Me:
Stacey Nagle, LMHC (they/them) is a queer/non-binary therapist who has over 17 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of mental health issues and settings. They specialized in providing crisis intervention to individuals who were self-harming or suicidal before becoming a therapist. They completed their internship at New Beginnings: Ending domestic violence where they provided individual and group therapy to domestic violence survivors and have extensive experience treating Complex PTSD. They graduated from Antioch University Seattle in 2012 and began their private practice November 2012.
Stacey has worked extensively with the LGBTQ2IA+ community, individuals with attachment issues, depression, domestic violence survivors, those with complex ptsd/trauma and those suffering from OCD and related anxiety issues for the past 11 years. Stacey is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is part of Northwest DBT located in Fremont. They provide DBT individual, group and family therapy, and currently co-facilitate the Wednesday night DBT teen group from 4:30 to 6pm and lead the Tuesday Queer/Trans DBT adult group from 11:30am to 1pm through Northwest DBT. Stacey is a founding member and is on the board of directors for the International OCD Foundations (IOCDF) OCD Washington Affiliate. OCD Washington was started in 2016 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focusing on education to bring more awareness and reduce the stigma associated with having OCD, as well as, educating friends and family members of OCD suffers. The affiliate focuses on supporting suffers and their loved ones by providing education for the community and for professionals who treat ocd as well.
